Litter Free Bingo

This is a useful warm up activity and fun way to find out what
pupils already know about a topic. It gets everyone moving
around, speaking to each other at the start of a lesson.

All you need to do is give each pupil a copy of the questions
and ask them to move around and find someone different
to fill in each of the answers. Once they have a ‘full house’
they can shout out ‘Litter Free Bingo’, and the game stops.
You can then go through the answers with them and discuss
some of the points.

Originally developed by RISC, this activity for pupils aged 8-16, has been designed to encourage thinking and rethinking about the best ways to reduce waste. It may be used as a baseline activity to measure pupils’ attitudes to waste at the start of a project.
