The Eco-Schools Programme is pupil-led, involving hands-on learning that gets the whole school and the wider community involved in exciting environmental projects.
The programme provides schools with FREE resources, specific to early years, primary, secondary school and college students, for each of the Seven Steps to help the school progress to the international Eco-Schools Green Flag within 12 months of registration. Schools do not need to pay for additional support from third parties.

Surfers Against Sewage’s plastic free schools programme is a system shaking, change making, pupil led education programme. The programme has been created to hit key Early Years and National Curriculum targets, and equips and empowers young activists with the tools to create positive, lasting environmental change. Once signed up, a school has access to a whole host of resources, including tutorial videos to guide you through the programme; lesson plans on plastic pollution, climate change and ocean health; and much more!

World Ocean Day For Schools
The World Ocean Day For School’s platform is a free, digital resource tool for educators and parents. It is designed to connect, create, and celebrate the wonder and importance of our ocean to children and young adults.
Activities and resources are age specific and available to all key stages. Resources include curated sessions, pre-recorded videos, focussed sets of activities for World Ocean Day, and year round resources that complement curriculum learning, on topics such as pollution, water, climate and weather , oxygen, food and wellbeing.

Plastic Oceans UK have created educational resources for schools based around the big question: can we learn to live sustainably with plastic?
There are two ways to get involved with Plastic Oceans UK’s resources:
Ocean Discovery Days: STEM-based challenges for 11 –14 year olds (Key Stage 3) that can be run both in and outside the classroom, with 3 bespoke videos introduced by Sir David Attenborough.
Ready-to-run Lesson Plans for 5 to 16 year olds for STEM subjects and beyond. Written by teachers for teachers.

The programme offers unbiased and informative information on all products available and the social and environmental contexts of menstruation.
The 2 Minute Beach School
The 2 Minute Foundation have created the 2 Minute Beach Clean School to provide 2 minute video resources to bring the beach to your home and teach your children about the importance of protecting our beaches and oceans.
